Overview
The Hertfordshire University is a public institution based largely in Hatfield (less than half an hour away from London). It hosts more than 30,000 students with over 10,000 international students from over 140 countries who study 550-degree options at a vibrant, inclusive, campus-based institution.
The University ranked 4th globally for its research culture (PRES, 2019) and over 55% of the university's research has been rated 'world leading' and 'internationally excellent' in the UK Government's 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF). The institution was awarded an Enterprise Zone status as it supports hundreds of local businesses. The University itself is one of Hertfordshire's largest employers.
Having won the Guardian University Award for Student Experience in 2015 and having a 95% rate of employability within six months since the graduation, Hertfordshire University is one of the most valuable investments a student can make.
