Overview
The University of Roehampton is situated on three major sites in Roehampton (south London). Roehampton consists of four colleges: Digby Stuart College, Froebel College, Southlands College and Whitelands College and offers courses within following faculties:
- Faculty of Business and Law,
- Faculty of Arts,
- Faculty of Education,
- Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,
- Faculty of Life and Health Sciences,
- Faculty of Psychology.
2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) announced the University of Roehampton the most research-intensive post-1992 university in the UK. Those who are dance enthusiasts will be pleased to know that Dance department was the highest rated in its subject areas in the UK (REF 2014). Other recognized courses are English Literature, Biological Anthropology and Drama.
There are more than 8000 international students from over 140 countries enrolled at the Roehampton. The University runs special Pathways Programmes, which help to develop academic English language and study skills to a level of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
