Overview
London Metropolitan University (London Met) was established in 2002 as a merge between the University of North London and London Guildhall University. There are 7000 international students from 155 counties among the total of over 10000 students spread among 160 courses.
There are six schools spread among two University’s campuses:
- The School of Art, Architecture and Design
- Guildhall School of Business and Law
- The School of Computing and Digital Media
- The School of Human Sciences
- The School of Social Professions
- The School of Social Sciences
The international advice team at London Met can provide a wide range of guidance and advice to international students and staff, such as help with immigration issues, working during and after your studies, welcome inductions, workshops and training.
Research forms a core part of the life of London Met. It helps to engage with local stakeholders in Islington, Hackney and Tower Hamlets, Greater London, the UK and worldwide.
London Met boasts of one of the largest and most advanced teaching facilities with large number of laboratories. It also has a business incubator (an Accelerator), which provides advice, support and knowledge to those who wish to start own business upon graduation.
